The Old Stoneway has grown quiet. Too quiet.
Tasked by the Magistrate to investigate the disappearance of several foresters near the logging town of Oldervale, the party sets out along the Old Road that bisects the western edge of the Forest. The assignment is meant to be simple: one last obligation to settle an old debt.
But the Forest has other plans.
Driven from the road in the dead of night and hopelessly lost beneath the towering trees, the party soon discovers that the forest guards older secrets than the missing foresters alone. Hidden deep within the woods stands an abandoned temple whose history has been deliberately forgotten.
Within its silent halls lie the remnants of a faith twisted by ambition, and the lingering evidence of a high priest who traded devotion for something far darker.
